I chose to talk about two badges that I find were a must to succeed in this class, but to also continue having success in our future careers. Dependability & Professionalism !!!
Dependability, represents the set of skills as the quality of being able to be counted on and relied upon. In this class we had task to complete each week and were always busy doing something new for the classroom. This is how it is in the 21st century, we live a life that is super on the go and fast paced. Being dependable in general in life and in your professional career is something that can and will take you far in life and in the relationships you acquire along the way.
Professionalism, this is something that is really important and goes along with being dependable. Being professional indicates you are ready and will do the task required in the proper manor, being sincere and and having proper personal etiquette, also bringing that into the technological world called netiquette. As a professional you are expected to have certain competence and skill and in today day and age its important to show good quality professionalism and showing you are a efficient in the work you are doing or want to do.
I have learned taking this class, and it really forces an individual to get organized. I think that this class is perfect for learning teacher candidates that will be jumping in the new upbeat 21st century education world. At first I was super nervous about having to use all these new tech tools and it overwhelmed me. As the weeks went on I became more and more efficient with my time and became more organized in the way I go about certain things, in and out of school. I came across many tools that right away I knew I would love to use in my future classrooms, ideas would come across my mind right away.
I learned a lot, the course gave me good habits, and I'm excited to take this new knowledge into the work field.
